Help us bridge the growing gap by giving designers real problems to learn from.
The industry is facing a new reality. Entry-level roles are disappearing, teams are stretched thin, and most companies no longer have the time or structure to train junior–mid designers.
So we’re stepping in, and we’re inviting startups to be part of the solution.
1
Share a problem space.
A user flow, a feature idea, a friction point, anything your team is currently exploring. This becomes the foundation for a high-quality learning experience.
2
We turn it into a guided sprint.
Our team shapes your input into a structured brief that teaches real-world decision making, constraints, and product thinking to our designers.
3
Designers learn by working through it.
For two weeks, selected designers explore your problem under our guidance. This is hands-on training.
4
You see what they explored.
At the end of the sprint, you join a short session where we share the most interesting concepts and insights that emerged.
5
Join the Fireside Chat
A quick conversation where designers share what they explored and get to ask your team questions, helping them build real industry relationships.
And yes, fresh perspective for your team too.
Let designers learn from real problems.
Get real perspective for your team.
The industry needs new voices. Let’s help them grow by giving them something real to work with.*
Bring us one real UX problem.
We turn it into a learning sprint.
You don’t need a long brief or prep work. Share a challenge your team is exploring, and we’ll shape it into a sprint designers can learn from.
Example Sprint Brief
“Our users browse but rarely create. Help us understand what motivates contribution and explore ways to reduce friction in the posting experience.”
Example Sprint Brief
“Our teams create a lot of content, but feedback is scattered. How might we redesign the review flow so decisions happen faster and everyone stays aligned?”
Example Sprint Brief
“Learners want faster results, but the content feels too linear. Explore a personalized flow that adapts to skill level and keeps motivation high.”
(If you’re not sure what challenge to share, we can help you define one.)
We know founders are busy.
That’s why we handle everything.
Here’s all that’s expected from you:
Kickoff Call (30 min)
Come with one problem you’d like explored, even if it’s messy or not fully defined.
We’ll shape it with you, ask a few clarifying questions, and turn it into a focused sprint brief that gets real results.
We take it from there
Our team runs the sprint end-to-end.
We organize the designers, guide the process, and curate the strongest outcomes so you don’t have to manage anything.
Fireside Chat (30 min)
At the end of the sprint, join a short wrap-up call.
Designers ask a few questions about your product or industry.
We send the questions in advance , you simply show up and help close the sprint.
Bring a product problem to us and collaborate with the next generation of designers.
We collaborated with a stealth startup led by the Ex-CPO of Tinder to rethink the first-time user experience for an AI-powered real-estate platform. In just two weeks, 20+ Yummy Labs designers mapped user journeys, redefined trust touchpoints, and prototyped onboarding and discovery flows tested with early users.
Designers were also challenged to design the next wave of human–AI interactions, prototype with code, and bridge the gap between design and engineering.
